About Our Process

It all starts with an on-site visit from our mobile showroom. We bring samples that you would typically see in a department flooring store straight to your home so you can see how materials and colors look in your home environment.

It can make big a difference to see the samples in the lighting of your own home instead of a warehouse!

Along with our samples, our design experts bring their knowledge of flooring and design to make sure that you get the best flooring color and material for your home while staying within your budget. Plus, we work directly with major manufacturers across the U.S. and Canada to provide you with better prices, too.

After review of our samples, proposal, and estimate, your local Floor Coverings International flooring store will order the flooring you need and begin the installation. With installation, we treat your home as if it were our own. We ensure the proper cleaning of the flooring area, moving of furniture as needed to complete the project and careful attention to detail.

We've used Floor Coverings International Boise on three different projects and each time they more than exceeded our expectations. FIRST PROJECT: The team did a wonderful job with our hardwood floor! Ours was a very complicated job--- but they handled it superbly. They were prompt, professional, attentive to every detail, and surpassed our expectations. Jon, Alexei, and Carlee were not only experts in their jobs, they were very pleasant to work with. We love our floor! SECOND PROJECT: Jon, Greg, and Carlee installed luxurious carpeting in our walk-in closet. There were many tricky cuts to make around various shelves and the entrance to the crawl space. Greg was meticulous in his craftsmanship. Our walk-in closet looks perfect! THIRD PROJECT: We wanted new hardwood flooring in our large office. Jon and Carlee helped us choose the right brand and color for the room and Alexei did a masterful job taking out the old carpet and installing the new wood and patterned baseboards. He fitted specially-cut wood to meet the gradient of our door to the patio; and he made other really neat cuts to wrap the patterned baseboards around the corners to gently flow into the tiled-baseboards in our adjacent bathroom.
